Is a 3.4 gpa going to get me into NYU or University of Chicago or any other business schools?

Can you answer ilovemovies’s question about MBA?:
I’m a sophmore and i was wondering what gpa you need to get into a good business school. I do not play sports. 2 summers ago, i volunteered at my hospital. Also, i was thinking about getting a job so it will look good to colleges. I am trying really hard to improve my gpa and hope to improve it to 3.6 by the end of high school.

MBA Feedback: You need to get into some kind of extracurricular activity
And a 3.4 is fine, your SAT scores are really what matters
MBA Feedback: B school is about the MBA…………..so go someplace close and get a 3.80…graduate and apply to the school you want for grad school..the GMAT counts for a lot also……………..
MBA Feedback: University of Chicago will be really hard to get into, its the 7th best in the country, try getting a 30 on your ACT. check out their websites. you’ll be able to find out.
MBA Feedback: NYU is unlikely. With a REALLY high SAT and improved schores, it is possible.
Chicago is an impossibility — since they don’t have an undergraduate business school.
MBA Feedback: google MIT business school free classes.
business school will be obsolete in 5-years.
1. can do…will do
2. cannot do… will teach.
