How much does it matter where you get an MBA?

Can you answer Toucan Sam’s question about MBA?:

I’m planning on transferring from a small university to a very well known one to get my MBA, but I wonder how much it really matters. If you have several years of work experience, does it really matter if you get your MBA from some generic university?
